INSHORE AND BOTTOM FISHING PHOTOS
SNOOK, AMBERJACK, GROUPER, CUBERA SNAPPER
Fish inshore around the river mouths and islands surrounding the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area.  Spinning tackle is the equipment of choice while fishing for Pacific Black Snook or the exciting Rooster Fish.  Mackerel, Snapper, Trevalles and Jacks compliment this fishery.  Bottom fishing the offshore rocks involves heavier equipment for the giants of the deep.  Cubera Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack are the headliners.  Besides fighting hard, they make excellent table fare that can be prepared by any of the nice restaurants in the Quepos area.  Checkout the Gran Escape, Blanco Bar, and Dos Locos.
